Centered in Ome and Gyogakuen (Suginami) Campuses, the Gakurin Seminary is also connected to major partner institutions in New York and other places across the globe, offering a wide variety of courses and programs. As a global training center for engaged Buddhism and interfaith action, the Gakurin seminarians receive a holistic and integral education based on Buddhism and the Lotus Sutra to deeply reflect on their True Self and acquire the ability to tackle contemporary challenges and create the future of society, the nation and the world as “Pioneers of Bodhisattva (improving oneself and serving others).”
